Jasmine Sambac
Hot, narcotic, almost tea-green — jasmine with the volume up and the indole turned loud.
Distinct from grandiflorum jasmine, sambac is the variety strung into garlands across India and Southeast Asia, with a richer, more animalic and slightly fruity character. A heart-note powerhouse that gives white-floral and oriental compositions their sultry, intoxicating glow.
