Peach

Ripe, velvety, sun-warmed fruit with a downy skin. Juicy without ever turning sticky.

An accord rather than a single note, peach is built mostly on lactones — gamma-undecalactone above all — that lend a soft, creamy, slightly milky roundness. It bridges fresh top and floral heart, flattering rose and apricot and adding a tactile plushness to fruity-floral and chypre structures. One of perfumery's oldest fruit illusions, and still one of its most flattering.
